Haha! Remember last week when I was talking about needing a vacation! Well that became a bit of a monkey’s paw situation. Because Friday morning, a member of my household got a positive COVID test result.
I immediately started shopping on Amazon for the things needed to build a Corsi-Rosenthal box, and while I was doing that my sweetheart called on her way home. She told me that our neighbors, whomst are out of town for two weeks and having their cats sat by aforementioned sweetheart, had heard the news (which travelled fast) and offered for us to stay at their empty house to wait until the plague had passed us by.
So now we are staying at someone else’s home to avoid contaminating ourselves. It’s nice here! There are two cats! It’s been useful for my mental health to think of it as a vacation, except just down the road from our regular house, so we can pop back in (masked) if needed.
As a further result, I don’t have my computer with me and so I’m offering a truncated email to you this week. Please stay safe out there!
